Crown joined a venture rooted in a compelling concept and supported by reputable partners. Seeing an opportunity to expand its growing hospitality portfolio, Crown stepped into a pivotal leadership role, committed to establishing a lasting presence among New York City’s globally recognized dining destinations.

Navigating a project shaped by diverse personalities and evolving creative visions required exceptional project management and diplomacy. Working within the constraints of an aging building and adapting to continual design changes posed significant challenges. Yet Crown maintained momentum and morale, fostering a collaborative environment among partners and seasoned hospitality professionals.

Serving as both architect and construction manager, Crown oversaw every aspect of the project—from engineering coordination and expediting to design implementation. The vision was to evoke the charm and intimacy of an old English cottage, realized through meticulous detailing and thoughtful material selection.

Rabbit in the Moon debuted to widespread acclaim, generating significant media buzz even before opening its doors. In its first weeks of operation, the restaurant attracted world-renowned celebrities, professional athletes, global business leaders, and a loyal base of local patrons—quickly cementing its status as one of New York’s most sought-after new destinations.
